How to Enable DNS Client Logging

This logging may be useful in troubleshooting name resolution and name registration problems.

Steps:

DNS Client Service logging
- Create Dnsrslvr.log in %systemroot%\system32 with at least one character or space in the file.
- Restart the DNS client service.
Output: %systemroot%\system32\dnsrslvr.log
DNS Client Registration Services logging
- Create Asyncreg.log in %systemroot%\system32 with at least one character or space in the file.
- Restart the computer.
Output: %systemroot%\system32\asyncreg.log
